Connect Stripe to ViralPayouts

How to install

1. Sign in to your ViralPayouts brand console (or create a brand) and create your program.
2. On this page, press Connect Stripe next to the program. Stripe asks you to choose the account and approve the app's read-only permissions.
3. Stripe sends you back here, connected. If you installed from the Stripe App Marketplace instead, sign in and pick the program to connect.
4. When you create a Checkout Session, pass the partner's referral as metadata.ref_code (and the click id as metadata.vp_click), or as client_reference_id.
5. Make a test purchase. It appears in your console as a test conversion, with the commission split shown.

What the app reads, and why

• Checkout Sessions, to record a sale and the partner it belongs to (from the metadata or client reference you set).
• Invoices, to credit renewals to the partner who referred the customer.
• Charges and refunds, to reverse commission when money goes back to a customer.
• Events, to receive all of the above as it happens.

Every permission is read-only. The app never charges, refunds, pays out or changes anything in your Stripe account. Partners are paid by ViralPayouts outside Stripe. We keep only your Stripe account id and the sale facts our ledger needs; we do not keep Stripe access tokens, and we never sell or publish data from your account. Uninstalling

Uninstall the app from your Stripe Dashboard (Settings, Installed apps) at any time. ViralPayouts stops receiving events from your account at once. Commission already earned by your partners stays owed under your program terms.
